Rio Raft is close to Canyon Lake, Gruene and New Braunfels in the center of the Texas Hill Country. We are open daily for Guadalupe river float trips or access to the river for trout fishing. Discounted rates are now in effect for Guadalupe River cabin reservations. We have 21 Guadalupe River cabins with kitchenettes, full baths and a great view of our beautiful river frontage just above the 4th Crossing Bridge on River Road. Four cottages are near our large swimming pool with access to the Guadalupe River. RV camping is available with 30 and 50 amp service, on site sewer, cable TV, picnic table, free WiFi and space for big rigs. The Rio Raft event center overlooking the river will accommodate family reunions, corporate and church retreats, wedding parties or RV Rally clubs as well as activities for our Winter Texan friends. Rio Raft has been a family oriented resort since 1977 and prides itself on being one of the quietest parks on River Road and the only one on the Guadalupe River with a 24 hour on-site camp host. The disposable container ban in New Braunfels will NOT be on our section of the Guadalupe River. Ban applies on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers within the city limiits only.

Open year-round, Rio Raft offers fishing on the Guadalupe River for rainbow trout, brown trout, Guadalupe bass and more with boat rentals available all year (weather permitting). Rio is a stocking point for rainbow trout so bring your fly fishing rod and fish one of the Top 100 Trout Streams in the United States. Trout Stockings started November 19th and fishing is good. Personal attention and free maps of the Guadalupe River help make your float trip fun and relaxing. Rio Raft & Resor also has the items you need in our store such as water shoes, waterproof gear bags, sunglasses, lotion, and cold beverages for a great time while on the Guadalupe River. Of course, if you have little ones or just want to really relax, enjoy our refreshing beach-entry pool and covered pavilion while the more adventurous brave the Guadalupe River's rapids!Volleyball, horseshoes, children's playground and 1/4 mile riverfront park give you plenty of choices for fun and games.
